Wanda & Naomi Holopainen, Yilin Ma

4 OCTOBER - 20 OCTOBER 2024

Wanda Holopainen is an art activist, documentarian, and storyteller. Their practice revolves around archives and memory. Through creativity, Wanda seeks to reimagine and unthink our world as we know it.

Naomi Holopainen explores themes of existence, space, and time. Their work contemplates cause and effect, necessity, and possibility. Recently, they have focused on unraveling threads that bind connections, the essence of freedom, exploring the interplay between dreams and realities, and challenging conventional notions. Naomi’s work prompts a reevaluation of bodily experiences.

Yilin Ma is a Helsinki based writer/curator, working in the intersections of literature, visual culture, and live performance with a focus on queer diaspora narratives and queer-feminist ways of understanding the spaces between lyrical and material.
